Mountain goat (Oreamnos americanus)
Mountain goat hides were not common but prized for being soft and easy to work. The ability of mountain goats to climb to great peaks on the steepest of edges has been observed and makes this animal truly amazing. Mountain goats can survive in extreme conditions in high elevations.

Agility, Determination

I have watched mountain goats climb slopes and rocky mountains that seem impossible to pass. Impossible for other mammals of its stature, but not the mountain goat itself. They are willing to travel where no other animal will pass making them a favorite animal of visitors at parks they inhabit.
