Finches
Finches
Finches are a small to medium sized member of the songbird family. Here in the Midwest we have many different types of finches that come in a variety of colors. The pointed tough beaks of a finch are good for cracking open seeds and getting to food sources that make up a finches diet. Males are often brighter in the Finch family and overall easy to ID. Some of our Finch relatives only visit in Winter in the Northern forests of Minnesota.
