Blackbird

Blackbirds are diverse in size, habitat, and diet. Most of them have black feathers, and some are entirely black. Blackbird flocks are often a mixture of many of these birds. They travel and communicate in these large flocks looking for areas and food that can support the group. Red-winged Blackbirds are some of the first migrators to return in Spring singing near almost every body of water. Orioles are members of this family and are bright in color.
